Jan. 2005 – Present City of Cape Coral Reverse Osmosis Plant
Plant Operator
Responsible for operations of a 18 MGD drinking water production facility. Including but not limited to recording of all operational data from gauges, panels, and meters. Conducting routine laboratory analysis of potable and non-potable samples. Measure and monitor pH, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, chlorides and other water constituents. Daily calibration of required analytical equipment used in a drinking water quality control lab. Record and report data as per Florida DEP and AWWA guidelines. Check in and off loading of bulk production chemicals including polymers, sulfuric acid, sodium hydroxide, citric acid and sodium hypochlorite. Enter all shift data into computer system and data sheets Respond to customer inquires and complaints providing information and directing to appropriate personnel. Inspect, clean and monitor the functionality of mechanical equipment and perform routine troubleshooting on process equipment. Perform related work as required.
